The Hindu Council UK welcomes the launch of the Anti Hindu Hate Monitor (AHHM), an important new initiative developed by The International Centre for Sustainability (ICfS) to help document and address incidents of anti-Hindu hate affecting members of Hindu, Jain, and other Dharmic communities across the UK. The platform provides a dedicated and accessible space for individuals to report lived experiences of discrimination, abuse, or hostility, helping to ensure that the realities faced by our communities are better reflected in public awareness, evidence gathering, and future policy development.
Community participation will be essential to the success of this initiative. We encourage temples, organisations, youth groups, and community leaders to support the AHHM by sharing the platform widely within their networks and encouraging those affected to make use of the reporting system where appropriate. By working together, we can strengthen understanding, improve safeguarding, and help ensure that all communities are treated with dignity and respect.
To find further information, reporting guidance, and supporting resources, please click to visit the official AHHM website.
