The Board of Directors and the Executive Officers of Hindu Council UK are shocked and saddened by news of the incident in Southport, where the lives of three baby girls aged 6, 7 and 9, were taken away by a callous act and eight others remain in critical condition at hospitals, in a knife attack during the children’s dance event. Two adults, who were with the children, were also injured. Our deepest condolences and prayers are with the families of all those young innocent lives that were lost in this tragedy and our thoughts and prayers will remain, with all those affected by this tragedy.
We ask all our Temple affiliates to pray for the families and friends of all those who are fighting for life in hospitals across Southport.
We pray for peace and calm for the entire community in Southport.
