Faith and belief groups are at the centre of community life in London, providing vital services and support to those in need and providing a strong sense of belonging to their members and beneficiaries. This has become even more clear in London’s response to the global pandemic of Covid-19, with faith and belief communities being at the forefront of our city’s response.
The London Faith & Belief Community Awards celebrate the vital work of London’s faith and belief communities by bringing together local heroes and shining a light on their inspirational work. These projects demonstrate how Londoners from all faiths and beliefs can work together for a fairer and more inclusive city.
We are proud and would like to thank The Faith & Belief Forum for recognising two of HCUK projects for work and services to the communities in Greater London under the categories Covid-19 response and organ donation awareness campaign. The organ donation awareness campaign project was developed by our Director of health and founder & chair of SAHA charity Mr. Kirit Mistry. Many congratulations to everyone at Hindu Council UK and SAHA for these well-deserved awards
