For Immediate Release: Source: United Kingdom Indo-European Kashmir Forum (IEKF) and Hindu Council UK (HCUK) Express grave concern over another terrorist attack on CRPF convoy in Anantnag, South of Kashmir on Wednesday 12 June,2019.
We strongly condemn this terrorist attack, only four months after the Pulwama suicide attack on a CRPF convey, killing 44 army personnel and injuring many more.
A Pak-based terrorist group, AI Umar Mujahideen that claims the responsibility for the attack, ambushed a security patrol in Anantnag, killing five CRP Forces and critically injured three
soldiers. This attack comes just before the Amarnath Yatra is scheduled to start in the first week of July.
Pakistan openly continues to train the terrorists belonging to JeM, LeT, Hizbul Mujahideen, Taliban and Al-Qaida and routinely sends terrorists to India, to Jammu& Kashmir State and to Afghanistan to attack civilian as well as security forces in these countries.
We strongly reiterate our appeal to all members of the International community to support our appeal to Pakistan to end its support for cross –border terrorism and dismantle the terrorists outfits based in Pakistan.
Our heartfelt condolences and prayers are with the families who have lost their loved ones. May the injured make a speedy recovery.
