Satguru Nanak pargateya, mitti dhund jag chanan hoya” – 550th Parkash Divas of Guru Nanak Devji

Guru Nanak Devji (1469-1539) was one of the greatest religious innovators of all time and the founder of the Sikh religion. Guru Nanak Devji’s religious ideas draw on both Hindu and Islamic thought, but are far more than just a synthesis. Guru Nanak Devji was an original spiritual thinker and expressed his thoughts in extraordinary poetry that forms the basis of Sikh scripture.

The year 2019 will mark the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Devji, the first Sikh Guru and the founder of the faith.  The birth anniversary of the first Sikh guru, Guru Nanak Devji is known and celebrated as ‘Guru Nanak Prakash Utsav’ the celebrations, which will stretch across the globe for over a year.

The Hindu temple trust will be celebrating at Shree Ram Mandir, 22 King Street, and Southall Middlesex UB2 4DA, the 550th Parkash Divas of Guru Nanak Devji. On Sunday 27th of January 2019 at 11.30AM

H. E.  Ruchi Ghanashyam, High Commissioner of India will joining us along with leaders of all the political parties, Head of all the Temples, Gurudwaras, Churches and Mosques.
