Hindu Council UK met Marcus Jones MP (Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Communities & Local Government – DCLG) at a “fund raising garden party” for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice. ZoŃ‘’s Place is a registered Charity providing palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants aged from birth to five years suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Thank you Marcus for accepting to attend today.
In addition, Marcus Jones MP has been a great supporter of the Hindu Council UK and the Indo European Kashmiri Forum (headed by our Director at HCUK-Krishna Bhan). On numerous occasions Marcus Jones MP has hosted our events in the UK Parliament to highlight the plight of Kashmiri Pandits/Hindus.

Marcus Jones MP spoke with us about many issues including the recent EU Referendum, Politics and in particular a meeting that he is going to host for the Hindu Council UK at the Department for Communities & Local Government (DCLG) where we will discuss various issues affecting the Hindu Community in the UK and the launch of the first ever Hindu Report for the UK.
