The forthcoming ‘snap’ General Election 2017 is unique in terms of the number of Faith groups that have actively become involved to ensure their communities register to vote and have their say and make a difference. The right to vote has been hard-won, and it is the duty of everyone in public life to make sure everyone who is eligible to vote is able to vote. Research has shown that Britain’s Faith Communities are under-represented on the electoral register, and you can be part of changing that by taking the time to register to vote.

UK’s Faith Communities have united to encourage registration and send a clear message to their communities: “make sure you’re registered to vote”.

The Hindu Council UK is encouraging everyone from the Hindu community to take action. It’s really easy to register and by doing so you can secure your say on the issues that matter to you. We don’t want anyone to lose the opportunity to have their say at the election, so we are urging all Hindus to register as soon as possible.
