Hanukkah Massacre at the Bondi Beach Australia 14 December 2025

Hindu Council UK stands in solidarity with the Jewish Community in this Islamists’ massacre of 15 innocent lives and all those injured. We pray for their Souls’ peace and wellbeing. Like our Diwali festival the Hanukkah festival also marks the triumph of light over darkness, indeed Hindus and Jews share much in their faiths. Jews always prospered under Hindu kings bearing never an inkling of antisemitism, right from the BCE era when some of them emigrated to India.

Until the world recognizes Islamism for what it is, and continues to appease it, the Governments can throw £mn’s to secure communities to cover their failures to tackle it in the first place, it will continue to claim innocent lives. Of course, Islamism now breeds on the Islamophobia definitions that the Governments are so fond of, to show off their lofty compassion for one community whilst other communities suffer from its byproduct of Islamism like this – Any idea of Compassion which is devoid of Justice for all can’t work, surely.

The difference between Muslims – we say 99% – against Islamists is exemplified by the heroic bravery of Ahmed Al-Ahmed, a true Muslim who fought against the Islamist terrorist.

We ask our Temples to light a candle or a Diya in solidarity with our Jewish community this week please – Hanukkah is an eight day festival of light whilst our Diwali is a 5 day festival, we share the same spirit pf the festival.

Om Shanti
