Lord Mayor hosts the Archbishops and Bishops 2016 Dinner at Mansion House

The Lord Mayor and the Lady Mayoress Mountevans hosted a sumptuous dinner for the Archbishops and the Bishops in the regal settings of the Mansion House on 18th February 2016.

Hindu Council UK was founded in 1994 for all Hindus residing in the UK, combining all the Hindu faith denominations, whilst representing various Hindu communities from different parts of the world living in the UK. Its main purpose is to uphold Hindu Dharma and protect the Hindu inclusive theology, Vasudevaye Kutumbhkam, the world is one family.

Hindu Council UK’s work is to formulate one united policy out of a myriad of different opinions from all sections of the Hindu communities, and give a united voice, to present to the policy and legislation makers at the Government level. Its other purpose is to help build interfaith understanding and relations across the major faiths and none in the UK.

Hindu Council UK is a non-partisan faith umbrella body, and its work is with the Government of the day. Hindu Council UK works to promote dialogue to help resolve contentious issues.
